And: This one’s not me — it’s a blood relative, though, so sort of a guest fan appearance here on this site. My sister, Cyndi Mathews, interviewed Smash Mouth (I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from… the other apple) and hung out with the band.
Her daughters, as seen in the photo below, even got all-access passes for the show. The younger of the two girls, Emily, asked the guys if they’d come play in her living room. Steve Harwell told her they would, if she’d make them cookies. 😉
The new Smash Mouth album, Summer Girl, is apparently scheduled for a September 2006 release.
